WHO LIES & WHO TELLS THE TRUTH

Three things

1. Grieving of the Holy Spirit

2. Being given over to one's own

3. Sin against the Holy Spirit

1. Grieving of the Holy Spirit

A. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30).

The Holy Spirit seals us and so He is near, but so many people play with their imaginary childish excitements rather with the Holy Spirit and so he is grieved. I know the Holy Spirit for He writes these words right now. Others only aspire to know Him the way I do, but all I can do is teach them first. If my teaching is rejected and stubbornly replaced with their own, then one day such will be given over to their own.

B. I've been in places where the Holy Spirit intensely cried within me and I was in pain. He said, “take me out of here. Don't bring me here anymore.” I know what it means to grieve and even torment the Holy Spirit. Actually, the Holy Spirit did not allow me to return to those places where God performed many miracles. I always wondered about it. Today I fully understand.

C. When people discover the supernatural they want to somehow monopolize it. The Holy Spirit makes me resist these places, and resist those people that hinder His work.

[Acts 16:6] (…) they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them…
The literal word-for-word translation reads it this way, (…) having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. (κωλύω kōluō – Greek, to be prevented or kept from).

I greatly admire the great apostles for their sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The majority knows little of the intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit leads (Romans 8:14) and hence through the leading of His Spirit God’s children are known. Those who are led of their own intellect do philosophy and sort of hide in the holy writ dogmatizing it just to appear important and right in their interpretations. But that is still man’s own theology. How about learning something new and gleaning something fresh for each day from same verses? I’m sorry to say this, but hirelings brood only in religion without knowing the Holy Spirit.

[Psalms 51:11] Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

David knew of this possibility of grieving the Holy Spirit who came upon him and never left David.

[1Samuel 16:13] Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon David from that day forward.

The anointed of the Lord must shield God’s Spirit in order to keep the fellowship of the Holy Spirit intact. Knowing the Holy Spirit means to know the Truth; by Him we are sealed, led and taught.

The Spirit of Truth – John14:17; 15:26; 16:13 & Ephesians 1:13.

2. Being given over to one's own

A. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them (Romans 1:28-32).

B. For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame (Hebrews 6:4-6).

Explanations

A. The obvious signs of being given over to self are the outward fruits of: unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice, gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful, etc.

They hate God, but how? They say that they love His word, but make their own dogmas out of it. They do not love the living God anymore, but a dogmatic, standing still and locked in a theological box god. Hence, such a god is type of a pagan kind to be praised and worshiped according to one's own imaginations and personal formulations. Then such people seek support for their own dogmas and their own theology, which is mixed with the sensational. This mix contains allusions to fallen angels, yet the Holy Spirit logic does not make allowances for such thinking; because we shall be like angels, who are spirit, winds and flames.

[Hebrews 1:7] And of the angels He says, "Who makes His angels winds, and His ministers a flame of fire.” (A quote from Psalms 104:4).

[Matthew 22:29-20] But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.” (Genderless. Angels don’t marry nor have sex and do not produce an offspring. They are spirits, winds and not compatible with human flesh beings.)

Little is known about overcomers like Enoch, Melchizedek or Elijah whom God took alive as they were. Overcomers have an earthly identity and like Jesus, after resurrection, they can appear and disappear. And just as Jesus ate food, drank, and then disappeared; in the same manner can the overcomers. (Thomas could touch the physical Jesus who just appeared in their midst and after that Jesus vanished again.) Hence, the three angels that came to Abraham had to be two men and one angel. Two of them were overcomers and with one Abraham spoke for in him was God’s holy name YHVH. Abraham addressed Him as the LORD God (YHVH).

[Genesis 18:33] As soon as He had finished speaking to Abraham the LORD (YHVH) departed, and Abraham returned to his place.

However, the two men left Abraham’s presence.

[Genesis 19:1] Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening as Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom.

In the same way God said to Moses about the angel that will lead the congregation of Israel out of Egypt. Moses was warned to not sin against that angel because of the Name (YHVH) and that’s why that angel would not forgive Moses’ transgression.

[Exodus 23:20-21] Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place, which I have prepared. Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since My name is in him.

With this (kind of an) angel Abraham spoke over the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, but the two other men went to the cities to fetch Lots and his family. The reason for this differentiation between angels and overcomers is this: overcomers have a free will and can converse with God for they were once on the earth and conquered death and were translated. They can be physically touched, physically touch just as they did to the Lot’s family.

[Genesis 19:16] But he hesitated. So the men seized his hand and the hand of his wife and the hands of his two daughters, for the compassion of the LORD was upon him; and they brought him out, and put him outside the city.

However, spirits, angels, winds and flames do not possess physical bodies and so they are completely immune to physical elements like heat or cold, fire or water. This is being shown in the situation with Manoah where an angel ascended in the fire of Manoah’s sacrifice.

[Judges 13:20] For it came about when the flame went up from the altar toward heaven, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.

HERE COMES THE LIE

Organized religion knows little about those people, whom I had the honor of meeting. Because they have overcome lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes (1John 2:16) they would not have even the faintest desire to have sex with flesh and blood human being. The author of the  “Book of Enoch” most likely had a big problem with sex and could not handle it the proper way and had to blame his problems on some fallen angels. Anyone else stuck in that same problem tends to do the same.  Sex is not an abnormal function for which God must provide a remedy. It is the natural power procreation upon the earth. It would be foolish to say, “a remedy”, for sex is not a sickness. Abraham had a strong woman who gave her husband her slave to bring forth Ishmael. Jacob had four wives for whom he worked hard for Laban his wives’ father. Times have changed and things became complicated and out of these complex situations emerged many a nonsense books like the Book of Enoch.

Only flesh and blood can sin. For flesh and blood humans the law was given by which the uncleanness, wickedness, unrighteousness, transgression, iniquity and sin are defined. Angels have no will. God's will is their will. Angels do not preach nor teach. They cannot fall because, again, they have no will, no choice and can't make a decision apart from God's will. Only humans can go astray.

Perfect peace and perfect love is heavenly, where wars are not possible because there is no territory to fight over. In heaven there is no pride because there is no flesh; no darkness to hide evil plans; and no time to prepare for such a maneuver. The plausibility and probability of even prospecting for any overthrow of the Almighty God are none. The one who had contrived such preposterous imaginations must have been given over to his own depraved mind.  One would have to imagine God to be less than He is and not as the sovereign over all of His creation (including His angels) God. The absence of this thought makes such a man an idolater. If such one was a Jew than a convert or a proselytized pagan gentile and like fly that fell into a honey jar. Anyone who fell for this nonsense lost the faith in one God; hence, also pure monotheism.

C. These signs, which Paul listed, are: insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, etc. People make religion out of self-suiting verses like Jude, 2Peter and the Book of Revelations for these three allude to fallen angels and through them also to human corruption. Also, many allude to these things because of the Greek mythological mind, which responded—in the newly formed Christianity—to something similar. Greek gods fought, some fell some rose to some higher divine ascendency, bred children and fought for dominion and power. But that’s still paganism. You can use pagan ideas in order to draw one’s attention to the truth, but a twisted and resistant to the truth mind will rebel anyway and will be drawn to fantasies. In order to capture those people’s interest compromises had to be made. But these allusions do not constitute the absolute truth but rather refer to that day’s frame of mind and people’s imaginations regarding the divine and spiritual.

The Book of Enoch as some refer to it as being the one St. Jude draws from is a complete nonsense; and should never be even considered to be as an inspired by God scripture. No wonder it is not in the biblical canon and rightly so.

[2Peter 2:4] For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment;

This allusion (to the Book of Enoch, which is a supposition) is very short and it leads to warnings against corruption. Obviously it is being directed toward the Greek mind while quoting the Jewish Bible just to get their attention. Slowly, the Torah (the law), Tehllim (the Psalms), Hanevi’im (Prophets) and the entire Tanakh (known as the Old Testament) was introduced to the unfamiliar with Scripture gentile mind.

"God Did not spare the ancient world." "Ungodly." "He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes." These ideas were foreign to Greeks and Romans, but Christianity had to have Scripture to go by. Hence, all that is written in the New Testament has its roots in the Tanakh.

[Jude 1:6] And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day.

Jude does the same. He throws in some popular writings, which were not part of the Jewish Scripture, like the Book of Enoch, and then he quotes the OT Bible. "Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire…"

[Revelations 20:1-3] 1Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

John's visions, similes and metaphors must be explained and everyone rushes to do just that. But when one is well established in the Truth—which needs no fantastic things or anything sensational—everything else becomes plain and clear.

D. Worshiping of a frozen letter is a sign of being given over to one’s own; hence one is unable to repent; for in order to repent one would have to love God more than self. However, since one does not love God but rather more the pompous self one will look for a support of one’s own wobbly beliefs just to keep the old unchanged man in place.

Paul writes, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful, etc. Being stubborn, unloving and unmerciful constitutes a state of being which is an overwhelming love of self and self only. One also seeks to build his or her own kingdom (following or ministry) at the expense of another. In other words: such a person actually steals someone else’s anointing, divides, and tries to illegitimately use another man’s influence as his own. Such people often give you lip service, even read you book or here you message, but they that only to opportunistically; to drive a wedge, get in and build up their own. Own, own, own… This is the sign of being given over to one’s own.

I spot these shenanigans, political maneuvers; their wicked fruits are obvious. I put such down as the enemy of the truth. I leave them alone and allow the blind to lead the blind, for that’s what Jesus told us to do.

I am guided by this verse,

[Jeremiah 15:19] Therefore, thus says the LORD, “If you return, then I will restore you—before Me you will stand; and if you extract the precious from the worthless, you will become My spokesman. They for their part may turn to you, but as for you, you must not turn to them.

They may turn to you, but you must not turn to them. I know what I have; therefore anyone who is not interested in the Absolute Truth, which I represent, preach and teach I will not waste my time on.

Being given over is when the Holy Spirit departs and one becomes fleshly, yet perhaps religious with own theology - something established solid and something that suits one’s own. Someone who is no longer living and moving (spiritually), evolving and desirous of new discoveries and hungry to better know God; hence, hungry for a new revelation. A growing in the Lord child of God desires more of the new and fresh. Anyone who has settled everything in ones own mind has locked God in a theological box.

3. Sin against the Holy Spirit

Grieving is one thing, we all have done it at some point in our lives, but sin or blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is never pardoned. It is God’s Holy Breath and anyone disrespectful of that knowledge is in danger falling dead like Ananias and Sapphira. Those who crossed this line are no more. Some have already crossed that line but live but by a sliver of God’s grace. But if they do not repent they will be cut off for they are likely to repeat the same offenses again.

To such John spoke saying,

[1John 5:16] If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death; I do not say that he should make request for this.

Obviously he spoke of those alive and not those like Ananias and Sapphira. Each time John mentions sin to death the translators added the word leading, but what it actually means is that there is a deadly sin. This deadly sin is deadly because there is no time left for the sinner to repent.

Sin against the Holy Spirit is what Ananias and Sapphira did.

A man of God has the responsibility to shield the Holy Spirit from such people.
